As I promised, it would be a heckin’ long time until my next post, although 2 months isn’t too bad! In reality not much has changed; just more assessments and exams. However, I’m pleased to say they’ve all gone pretty well so far. WordPress says I’ve had 26 views since my first post (not too shabby), but I have a feeling most of those were just me accidentally clicking the link on my “favourite websites” page on my laptop… (sad).
I thought I would write this short post as I gaze out the window of the number 15 bus. I’m sure many of my fellow ‘Edi Vets’ can attest that getting the bus can be a bit of a love-hate affair. The Easter Bush Campus is located about 7 miles south of the city centre and the time it takes on the bus varies depending on what side of town you live.
I have to admit, it’s a beautiful day today. Through the window the sun is trying its’ hardest to tan my entire right hand side exclusively. All I can think is “I wish I had a car!”, but the bus isn’t all bad. In the Winter, it is definitely more of a godsend. When outside is blowing a gale and the snow is causing havoc, upstairs on the bus still somehow resembles Tenerife at noon in July. Pineapple-growing tropical heat…
As you can probably tell, I’m floundering in a lacking of content. To anyone reading this: please get in touch if there’s something in particular you’d like to know more about Edinburgh in general or the vet school.
Signing off (for another 2 months most likely).
